About Us
Cultivate Children’s Center is a preschool that celebrates and welcomes all children. We recognized the need to meet children where they are developmentally rather than where others think they should be. Children are capable of more than they get credit for! This preschool intentionally focuses on what a child CAN do and helps them discover new approaches for child-led learning. Our goal is to bring positivity and an open mind so that children can succeed in their way.
Meet the Team
Mrs. Belinda
Director
Hello! I’m Belinda, and your child will either refer to me as “Mrs. B” or “Benda" depending on their age, and I’ll answer to both! I am a mom of two amazing children, a handsome fur son, a forever student, wife, and community advocate.
For the last 20 years, I have worked with children ages infant to middle school, and I’m certain my calling is to encourage children to be who they are. As an Early Childhood Educator, I know that forcing a child to do something they don't want to do is a power struggle waiting to happen. I want to offer an environment where children are their own teachers, and we help facilitate their development. It doesn't mean that we will not create and offer a plan for the day; it just means we are realistic and know that children can decide at any given moment to disrupt those plans. Our job is to be prepared for those moments and turn them into learning opportunities: thus, the reason Cultivate Children’s Center was created. I hope you will allow us the privilege of watching your child grow with us.

Hi, I’m Teacher Savannah! I’ve always known that I wanted to be a teacher and work with children since I was little. I started to pursue that career choice in 2021, as I gained experience working with children from the ages 3 months-4 years old, and taking classes to earn my credentials. I wanted a career that genuinely made me happy and made a difference. It gives me pure joy having the opportunity to provide a safe and loving environment that allows children to grow and learn! I love the idea that at Cultivate Children’s Center, we encourage every child to be a leader and achieve their personal milestones.

Hi, I am Teacher Kaylin! I’m a former Division 1 soccer player at the University of San Francisco who found a passion for coaching and educating children. I went from babysitting to coaching ages 3-17+ to working at an after-school program. I grew excited seeing the kids find who they are and grow as individuals. I’ve learned that a positive, safe, and encouraging environment can make the biggest difference in children's lives. I love finding new ways to make learning fun for everyone. Building trust and relationships leads to creating sweet memories, which makes me love this career more than I could imagine.

Hi, I’m Teacher Nargis! I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education in 2019 and have dedicated my career to creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children. Their curiosity and creativity inspire me every day. I believe in hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and fostering a strong foundation for a child's future success, both academically and socially. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, family, and friends, as well as traveling, reconnecting with loved ones, and listening to music. I truly value the partnership between teachers and families and am excited to collaborate with parents to support their child’s growth and development.

Hi, I’m Teacher Nicole! I've been teaching for nearly four amazing years, and I can honestly say I love what I do. Watching kids learn, grow, and discover their unique potential brings me so much joy and inspiration every day. I’m a proud San Diego native and graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Child Development (go Aztecs!). My heart has always been in helping children thrive, and being part of their learning journey is the best part of my job. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me exploring cute new coffee shops or out and about thrifting.

Hello, I am Teacher Fariha! Since childhood, I have had a deep love for children. Their innocence and purity inspire me, and that is why I truly enjoy working with them. I completed high school in Afghanistan and I am currently continuing my education in Child Development and English. Teaching young children brings me joy and fulfillment. I believe every child deserves love, respect, and a safe environment to develop their abilities. I want to be a good role model for the children.

Hi, I’m Teacher Eboni! I believe learning begins with love; when children feel safe, seen, and free to grow in their own rhythm.
My studies combine musical theatre, science, and heart, deepening my understanding of child development, growth, and responsive care; insights I bring into every interaction with my students and families.
Whether I’m soothing a baby with a lullaby or standing beneath stage lights, my purpose remains the same: to spark joy, nurture belonging, and remind every soul that they are deeply and beautifully loved.

Hi, I'm Teacher Alkila! But most children know me as “Ms. Kila.” I’m a proud mom who’s dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments where every child feels seen, valued, and celebrated.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that children learn best when they feel safe to express themselves and when their unique backgrounds are honored. I strive to build a classroom community that reflects diversity and fosters empathy, where curiosity and creativity lead the way. I want each child to know that their voice matters and that their culture, abilities, and experiences make our classroom stronger.
